History:

Only a select few know how the region began... luckily, the Professor is one of them. She'll gladly spin the tale...

One being, an empty expanse, and a lot of time. That is how the region came into being. He carved the land, filled the waters, made everything into being. Two beings he designated to watch over the region. Umbreon, the lord of darkness, and Espeon, the lord of light. One can not exist without the other, and both together keep the balance in the Laokia Region. Then the Pokemon came, moved into the region, across it's many areas. Then came also the people, building cities and settling down. No one had ever seen the creator, but many had seen the two lords. At least in the beginning. With the continued evils of the humans, they disappeared fron the face of the land. However, they left us with two statues, standing guard still over the region.

Plot:

Evil is growing. Is man behind it, or is it something more? All that is for certain is that evil people are running free, causing trouble wherever they go. There is a greater danger though, just ask any who have experienced the strange darkness and overwhelming cold, coming up out of nowhere. Could man be causing this?

It is true that humans did cause the outbreak of Demon Pokemon. They will attack without a care, in a maddened state. And then what of the rumors of black, shadowy Pokemon? Or the blue, gilled Pokemon, those who shouldn't have gills or be blue? And what about the strange effects that the darkness and chill have on normal Pokemon, especially wild Pokemon? The only thing that can be said is to take care, and step carefully. Dangerous times are ahead.
