They finally made it to the next route. Isumu and Eulalia was close to their trainer, Zephyr and Faith.
"Be on your guard you guys. The pokemon on this route might be alot stronger than those on the last one." The male warned his group.
<Ha, I can take them. I'll protect you guys.> the pink pokemon said, his head high in the air.
"Don't get your hopes up. You two had your battle, the others need their turn." Zephyr replied. The trickster pokemon gave a small chuckle as she float down towards the Nidoran's level. She basically stuck out her tongue at him, taunting. The Nidoran growled at the ghost.
<Go somewhere!> he yelled, but Faith had already disappeared back to Zephyr.
"Be nice Isumu. She's still little."
The Nidoran just gave a snort as the continued.

But nothing was stirring, not even a sound was heard. It was all very quiet, too quiet. It was also unnaturally dark, even though the sun was still shining brightly. The air seemed to be filled with... anger. Anger, hatred, and evil. It was cold, so cold. Everything seemed to be sleeping, not even the wind blew.
No sign of life at all. Nothing. Just a whisper, a whisper that was more like menacing laughter, seemed to echo from nowhere. [/sub]

As soon as it gotten cold, Zephyr begain to feel goosebumps on his skin. As he breath out, small cloud's of fog formed. It was weird, how it got so cold al of the sudden. He looked at his Nidoran, they were suffering from the same effect. But Faith, on the other hand, didn't. Maybe because she was a ghost pokemon.
Everything seem to just stop and was replaced with emotion, that of anger and hatred, then a laughter. This was something a ghost pokemon might do, but then again it might be something else.
No one spoke as the contiued down the path, maybe they could find the source.

A houndoom, surrounded by a red aura, with bright glowing red eyes jumped out of the bushes. His pearly white teath gleamed even through the darkness. He growled menacingly at Zephyr and his Pokemon.
"Now now Doom, don't frighten the poor travelers," said a high, cold voice. It came from behind a few trees, but no one showed themselves. It was obvious that the Houndoom's level was much greater than any of Zephyr's Pokemon.
"What brings you out here boy?" the voice asked, evil seeming to be dripping from it.

Zephyr stopped in his tracks as the canine pokemon jumped from the bushes and blocked their way. The Houndoom seem to be glowing. Did they always do that? Lia was frighten by the sight that she hid behind Isumu, who stood his ground, but he was also a tad scared himself.
Zephyr listened as a voice talked to the dog pokemon then it talked to him. Why would this person or thing want to know why he was out here. Maybe he should just answer, 'cause maybe if he didn't, the owner of the voice would send the Houndoom after them and he doubt any of his pokemon could hold their own in a battle with it.
"I'm here to train my pokemon so they could be strong enough to defeat the gym leader in the town up ahead." he answered the question.

"Oh, a trainer then? Well, how about I help you out? I'm sure that you can get some experience from this," she said, laughing maliciously. There was a flash, not of light, but rather of total darkness. The Houndoom was gone, and so was whoever had talked to Zephyr. But, the cold and strange darkness remained. Another rustle in the bushes, and then a Bidoof leaped out at Zephyr. Behind him also leaped out a Shinx, a Ponyta, an Ekans, a Zigzagoon, and a Starly. They all glared at Zephyr and his Pokemon, their eyes were strangely clouded. It was as if they were in a daze, hypnotized by the very air. Zephyr wouldn't be able to escape without a battle... a six-on-six battle. Opponents:Bidoof- Lv. 4 Shinx- Lv. 4 Ponyta- Lv. 4 Ekans- Lv. 4 Zigzagoon- Lv. 4 Starly- Lv. 4

When it suddenly gotten dark and the Houndoom disappeared, the teen knew something was up. Soon seeing that six different pokemon suddenly appeared, it confirmed his previous though. Well this was great, even if the stranger said it would help somehow.
"Yeah, probably her..." Zephyr mumbled as he studied the situation. All his pokemon would have to come out, the rest of them that is. Taking three of the spheres he released the rest of the a Riolu, Drowzee, and the Zigzagoon he caught earlier.
"Kouki, Konani, and Kekao. I don't have time to explain as you all can see. So everyone has to work together in other to defeat all of them. But they don't seem to be normal at all. So I want everyone to be on their guard." he warned them. This will be some work, ordering six pokemon at once.
Everyone had gotten into their positions ready to fight.
"Lia, Faith, and Kouki use Growl to lower attack power of the Ponyta, Shinx, and Ekans. Konani use Hypnosis on the Starly. Isumu go with a Leer on the Bidoof. Kekao use Quick Attack on the Zigzagoon." he ordered them.
The group of pokemon began their attack their chosen opponent. Lia, Faith, and Kouki had grouped together to use their Growl attack on the horse, cat, and snake pokemon. The Drowzee begins to chant as he seen some waves of hypnotic energy towards the bird pokemon. The blue mouse pokemon eyes began to glow a yellow, a sigh he was trying to lower defense. Kekao had quickly made his way towards the Raccoon pokemon as he made his attack.

OoC: For future reference (bc I am too lazy to look in the book every post) these are the attacks of the wild Pokemon. Ponyta-tackle, Ekans-wrap/leer/poison sting, Shinx-tackle, Starly-tackle/growl, Bidoof-tackle, Zigzagoon-tackle/growl.
------
Lia, Faith, and Kouki's Growl attacks did their damage, severely lowering the attacks of the Ponyta, Shinx, and Ekans. The female Nidoran, newly-hatched Misdrevious, and the Zigzagoon laid the first hits of the battle. But, the Ponyta, Shinx, and Ekans weren't just going to sit still and do nothing. They attacked, the Ponyta running forward in a tackle attack at Lia, her mane flying. The Ekans spit out her Poison Sting at the Misdreavous, and the Shinx ran at Kouki in a tackle of her own.
The Drowzees, Konani's, Hypnosis hit the Starly, dizzying the Flying-type. In a couple of seconds the Pokemon was fast asleep, not looking as if he would wake up anytime soon. He lay on the ground snoring.
Isumu, the male Nidoran, succeded also in his attack, lowering the defense of the Bidoof. The Bidoof ran forward angrily, his Tackle aiming right at Isumu. Kekao, the Riolu, hit the Zigzagoon with such force that it knocked the Pokemon backwards. Zigzagoon leaped back to his feet and growled loudly, ferociously for such a small Pokemon.

OoC~ LOL I feel like doing the same thing. It's a hassle to remember their attacks.
Zephyr was glad that all the attacks hit their target, but now it was the enemies turn. All except one was going in for attack.
"Lia hold still like last time, let the Ponyta hit you and when it does use Tackle. Kouki counter that Tackle with your own. Faith, Psywave at the Ekans. Konani use Pound on the sleeping Starly. Kekao use Quick Attack on the Zigzagoon. Isumu go with a Peck."
Lia did what she was told, like last time maybe the poison will set in. Soon she felt the body of the Ponyta's slam into her, but it was weaken from earlier. She quickly gather her footing as she went in for a Tackle.
Kouki went in for a Tackle. He felt the Shinx's Tackle and was repeled backwards after his attack.
The ghost pokemon felt the sting of the the Ekans attack hit her. She shook it off and send some purple Psywave towards her target.
The Drowzee made his way over to the sleeping pokemon and began to use Pound with his hands.
The Riolu felt his attack lower abit, but still went in for another Quick Attack.
The pink mouse felt the beaver's attack him. He skid back and gain his footing, running to the pokemon he went in for a Peck.

The Ponyta barely missed Lia's small horn, but then the Nidoran's tackle hit her, and her poisonous horn did sink in. The Ponyta could feel the poison spreading throughout her body, but she pushed it to the back of her hypnotized mind and ran forward in another Tackle.
The Shinx also fell back as the two Tackles collided, wincing slightly. But, she didn't pause to think about the pain. Immediately she ran at the Zigzagoon in another Tackle.
The Ekans didn't even celebrate when his attack made contact with the ghost type, and didn't even try to dodge. He took the Psywave in stride, then released another spout of Poison Sting.
Drowzee's attack hit the Starly with force, but the Pokemon merely grimaced in his sleep. Surprisoing though it was that the blows didn't wake the bird Pokemon, he just snored contentedly.
The Riolu's Quick Attack's were doing quite a bit of damage against the wild Zigzagoon, but the Pokemon only stared at him menacingly. He ran forward in a Tackle.
The Bidoof allowed the male Nidoran to peirce him, taking it as an oppurtunity to try to Tackle Isumu.

"Lia Scratch the Ponyta, Kouki try Tackle again, Faith Psywave, Konani keep on using Pound, Kekao Endure the attack, and Isumu Peck once again."
Lia jumped to the side at the horse pokemon made its way towards her. She was still in the air as she made her way over to strike ber enemy.
Kouki once again tackled the Shinx. Doing the same thing, but this time skid back a little.
The ghost pokemon floated up to dodge the Poison Sting and use Psywave once again.
Konani continued his onslaught on the sleeping pokemon.
The Riolu blocked as the Zigzagoon went in for the attack. Skiding back abit, he didn't take much damage.
Isumu was hit with the close up Tackle. He backed up and shook it off, going in for a Peck.

The Scratch attack did even more damage to the already weakened Ponyta. She panted a little, her eyes still glazed over, and the ran at the female Nidoran in another Tackle. Her attack was much slower this time, as the poison was steadily weakening her as well.
The Shinx didn't have much choice when it came to attacks, so she ran forward in another Tackle. The Zigzagoon's new collision had hurt as well, but the Shinx's clouded eyes took no register of pain.
The Ekans's attack missing did little to help her anger. If anything it made it worse. She hissed furiously and lunged at the ghost Pokemon for a Wrap attack, forgetting that such moves had no effect on Ghost-type Pokemon.
Finally, after the numerous Pounds, the Starly woke up. He squaked in outrage, whether because the Drowzee had awoken him from his slumber, or because the Drowzee had caused it in the first place was impossible to tell. He rose into the air then flew at the Psychic-type in an aerial Tackle attack.
The Zigzagoon hardly noticed that his attack hadn't affected the young fighting-type that much, he ran at him with another Tackle.
The peck again connected with the Bidoof's flesh, and the small Pokemon did cry out. For a moment the glaze left his eyes, being replaced by a look of confusion, but then it returned and the Bidoof growled ferociously. He ran forward for yet another Tackle.
All of the Pokemon were visably weakening. Whether the owner of the voice had did this to help Zephyr was extremely unlikely, what with the evil and somewhat mocking laughter that had come after the words. More likely this was meant to hinder, or maybe even to test him.

The boy noticed as the pokemon seem to get weaker. This was a good thing, but something was up, they weaken too fast. Was the person behind this hold thing doing this or something. Well he had to find out later.
"Lia Scratch, Kouki Tackle, Faith Psywave, Konani Pound, Kekao Quick Attack, Isumu Peck." he commanded.
Lia once again dodged the horse. It seem to have gotten slow now, the poison was taking effect. The Nidoran tries to rake her claws on the pokemon.
Kouki was breathing heavily do to the fact he hasn't healed all the way from the previous battle, but it didn't stop him. He went in for an other head-on Tackle.
Faith hesitated as the snake pokemon went through her in it's attempt to use Wrap. She quickly regain her composure and fired the psychic wave at it.
Konani was hit with the Tackle, not being able to dodge the Starly. He attempted the Pound once more.
Kekao was hit and slid back. It didn't hurt much as the normal attack had little effect on him. He went in for a Quick Attack.
Isumu was sent into the air from the Tackle. He did a flip to correct himself and landed on the ground. Upon land he took off use Peck again when he was close.

The scratch again hit the Ponyta, and hard. Bright red streaks appeared on her flank from where Lia's claws raked into her flesh. One of her legs buckled, but she got it back under heer quickly enough. She tried for another Tackle, her rage speeding this one up a bit.
The Shinx dodged the Tackle and then ran at Kouki with one of her own. She seemed to be reveling in the fact that the Zigzagoon was weakened already.
The Ekans realized his mistake right after falling through the Ghost-type's intangible body. He hissed loudly, as if cursing himself for his stupidity. The Pswave hit again, and this time it Confused the Poison-type. He slithered around dizzily, letting fly a wild Poison sting that hit the Starly.
The bird Pokemon squaked his outrage at being hit not only by the Pound but also by the poisoned stingers, placing his anger at the Poison Sting into another aerial Tackle. The Starly was definitely almost out, just another hit would have it gone.
The Riolu's attack was way to fast for the Zigzagoon to be able to dodge, and it hit him, this time a critical hit. The Normal-type flew back, landing on his side a few feet away. He let out a Growl atack, but did not try to get up.
Again, the peck peirced the Bidoof, but the Pokemon's high defense wouldn't let him give in yet. He shook it off and ran at the male Nidoran in yet anopther Tackle.

Zephyr gave them orders once more, as they were put into actions.
The Nidoran was glad of the result of the attack. But se admired it too long and was hit with the full-body Tackle. She was thrown into the air and began to bounce on the ground as dust went up. Finally stopping she got up slowly, panting little. Lia scratched at the ground and went towards the Ponyta. Jumping in the air, she rised her claws and striked down.
Kouki was stunned that his Tackle didn't connect and was hit on the side. He rolled sideways on the ground. He was there for a moment, but got up. He charged in for another Tackle.
Faith was hit with some of the stray attack from the confused snake. Missing most of it, she would be okay. She aimed another Psywave at the Ekans.
Konani felt the Starly body connect with his. He endured it as his feet was planted into the ground. He balled his hands into fist to use Pound on the bird pokemon.
Growl did it's work on Kekao, lowering his power. Shaking it off her narrowed his eyes at the Zigzagoon as it layed there. He went for a Quick Attack. Swiftly going towards the raccoon pokemon, stopping when he gotten close, he was going to side swipe the pokemon with a rised leg.
Isumu skid back as he kept his grip onto the earth. He just stood there with his eyes close, using Forcus Energy.
