“Well… if I keep going, I’ll get to the next town faster and get to see more, but if I stop here, maybe I can find some people that I could battle.” Kenneth eventually stopped talking to himself once he reached Nirven Town again. The place seem a bit small than he thought it was when he got here, but the comparison got lost once he remember he never meet his new partner whom would hopefully keep him safe during his stay in this region. With that thought, he dug the small sphere from his pocket and released it captive in front of him.
As soon as the red light dispersed, a small cyndaquil stood where it had been. With a quick glance around, the fire mouse said, “<Where am I? >” She had her flame down, but she still knew that this wasn’t the lab she was so use to.
“Right now, you’re in Nirven town. I have something unexpectedly truthful to tell you.” Ken took a deep breath and let it calmly out. “You, as of this moment, are now a member of my exploration team. Welcome aboard.” Those words seem to stun the mouse that had just been observing her surroundings. She began to shake a little, making unsure noise. “What’s wrong?”
Kenneth last words were the pinch that told the fire type that she wasn’t dreaming. Usually she wakes up before any more words are spoken to her. This time, everything was real and already happening in front of her!
“<Yes! I’m finally out of that boring place, >” she blissfully pronounced quite loudly. “<Excuse me for the outburst of joy, but I been in that place way too long. I already found every crack and crevice that place has. >”
She quickly calmed down as a newer thought appeared before her. This idea started a fire within her heart or at least down her back by the way her back flare shot out. “<And now… I can really start searching. I mean I could go…>” She continue to list places high and low.
“Wow, that heracross was right. You’re the perfect member for my team,” Kenneth said with plain amusement. “And don’t worry. I plan to see everything this region is hiding.”
“<How? >” she said with excitement dancing within her flames, stopping her to do and see list.
“I haven’t gotten that far in my planning yet,” he sheepishly said, ”but I do know if we’re to get any where far away from here, you need to get stronger.”
“<Why are waiting then? Let’s battle the first thing we see! >” She randomly started to jump around her trainer, still getting use to the concept that she could go anywhere she wanted to, while her trainer just laughed, knowing this would be one interesting trip.
