From a calm and peaceful path to this muddy and wet trail - oh joy.
Jace looked pretty unimpressed as he took his first steps into Route Two. It wasn't nearly as welcoming as the first route was. Quite frankly, he wasn't looking forward to travelling through this place one bit.
Before moving anymore, the male took four Pokeballs off his belt, and released the Pokemon inside of them. First came an Aron, then a Demon Meowth, followed by a Pidgey, and finally came a Plusle. All the Pokemon looked up at their trainer, with the exception of Farris the Aron, who secluded himself from the crowd.
" You guys should take these. I don't know how much stronger the Pokemon here are compared to the last route... "
Jace suggested, pulling out his four Rare Candies and handing them out to his Pokemon. They all spent their time trying to free the candy from the rapper, and once they did, they eagerly swallowed the treat.
When they were all finished, Jace recalled them all but Farris. The male was going to train his Aron first, since they needed to do some bonding.
" Come along now, Farris. I'm not a bad person. "
Jace assured, starting to make his way along the path. The Aron timidly stayed behind the trainer, still having uncertainties about this shady character...

Of course, the Plusle, the Pidgey, the Demon Meowth, and the Aron all gain a level. The Demon Meowth also gaind 10 trust points. Jacan also learns Bite.
Ahead of Jace were three paths. One looked as if it was just about to sink under the water, puddles covered almost every inch that could be seen. It was the farthest right. Teh left path looked like it was mostly clear, save for a puddle or two. And then the middle path looked to be the driest by far, being elevated above the swampy water.
Jace could go forward, choosing a path to travel, or he could investigate a strange rustling that came from the water to the side of him. There was a small bush, and it moved every once in a while. Almost as if something was watching the Trainer and his Aron.

So, before Jace was three paths, one being submerged in water, one being somewhat wet, and one that looked as if a light drizzle dampened it. Hmm, well, he would be a fool to go through the deep path full of water - he'd probably lose both his shoes somewhere in there. The driest path seemed a little too... dry. There was probably a catch to taking the path, like insanely strong Pokemon or the path lead to no where in particular. So, the best choice would've been the path to the left.
Making sure that his Aron was still following, Jace noticed that Farris seemed to be shivering before a bush. Turning around to see what was up, the male caught the bush move a bit. Was something following them? The male forgot about the paths for a moment, watching the bush to see if it would move again.
Farris backed up until he bumped into Jace's feet, trembling timidly and staring at the bush like a little kid intently watches TV. Whatever was in that bush scared the poor Aron. He was very catious and anything that dared to move seemed to startle him.

A Buizel jumped from the bush, laughing at the Aron. <Haha man! I can't believe that I scared you!> he said good-naturedly. Then he seemed to realize just how badly he had scared the Rock-type. <I mean, I'm sorry man... I didn't WANT to scare anyone... I was just looking for a battle,> he added apologetically.
<So then, you must be a trainer? What do you say to a battle?> the Water-type asked eagerly.

Farris whimpered when the Buizel commented on his easy intimidation, even though the wild Pokemon wasn't intentionally being mean about it. He didn't even seem to listen when the Water Pokemon apologized to him; he just hid behind Jace's legs.
" Hmph, it's a Buizel... There's nothing to be scare about... "
Jace sighed, being as patient as he could be. Ah, Farris would get over his fears soon enough, he just needed to battle and build up his confidence. When the Buizel mentioned a battle, a smile spread across his lips.
" Sure, Farris would love to battle. You just go up there and Tackle that Buizel. "
Jace accepted the challenge for his Aron, nudging the Pokemon forward with his foot. Farris gulped, staring at the Buizel nervously, not wanting to battle. However, being obedient, the Aron hesistantly moved closer to the Water Pokemon, jumping up to try out a Tackle attack.

Though the Buizel could have easily dodged the Aeron's hesitative attack, he stayed where he was and accepted the heavy blow. He felt bad for scaring the Pokemon so badly, and wanted to help up his resolve.
The force of the Rock and Steel type's attack pushed the Buizel back and even caused him to wince. But, the Buizel wasn't going to full-out battle a Pokemon that was afraid of him... He wouldn't feel right. So, he let out a weak Sonicboom, knowing that even if he had given the attak his all it wouldn't effect the Aeron that much, and being so weak it would hardly do a thing.
Of course, there was always a chance that the attack would just scare Farris more. The Buizel hoped that the weak attack would make the Pokemon more confident in his abilities so that they could have a real battle.
