Zephyr had followed the morph to the next route. It was a marsh-like area... Or rather it is a marsh with the mud and stuff. The place looked confusing because of the different paths that went everywhere.
But anyway, before he actually get lost. He wanted to check out something. On his way here his pokeballs seem to glow a weird green color. So he unhooked the first pokeball on his belt and released the pokemon inside. The pokemon that was a Nidoran Male, is now a Nidorino. He was surprised at this and decided to see if Eia evolved and she had. Into a Nidorina. So that mysterious glow leveled up the pokemon. That was cool. He recalled them back and contuned on the path, following the morph.

Eia stopped to regard Zephyr for a moment, taking note of his slight surprise at finding a Nidorino and Nidorina where his a Nidoran male and female had been. She smiled and continued walking a moment before the trainer did, glancing around at all of the different paths. Truly, the morph was beaming inside, as with her acute senses she knew which way would leave them dry. But, why ruin the fun? There was a sense of acomplishment that followed correctly navigating through this decieving place. Not to mention the generous old lady that waited at the end.
Up ahead a split in the path occured, leaving two choices. The right path, which at fist glance appeared to be high and dry, and the left path, which had small puddles located all over it. There was no way for a normal human to know how the path looked farther on. The Poke'morph waited for Zephyr, then fixed him with a curious smile.
"So, which way do you want to go? Just remember, don't judge a book by it's cover," Eia said cryptically. Whether she was giving Zephyr a hint or not was unsure, and she did not give anything away with her curious expression. [/sub]

The Teen continued to follow Eia, until she had stopped. She was asking him which way they should go. Uh oh... Zeph wasn't actually good at picking which way to go. He himself would get lost, but somehow get to where he was going. The boy was nervous about picking the wrong way, but kept his composure...somehow.
He looked at both paths. One was dry, the other had puddles here and there. The dry path or the wet path? Maybe he should take the dry path. It looked safe and dry. But maybe not... The wet path had some dry patches her and there, maybe he could avoid the puddles. after some thinking he decided.
"Umm... I guess we go left." he said with a nervous smile and began to take the puddled path.

Eia did well to hide her smile. Many people would have picked the dry path, thinking it to stay that way even if they could not see that much of it. She happened to know that the 'dry' path descended as it went, until it was completely submerged in the marsh. Though not too deep, they would indeed get wet if they had taken that route.
As it was, the left path steadily rose up and out of the water, the puddles soon disappearing and leaving only dry land. Eia followed Zephyr, and after a while they reached another split in the road. This time though, there were three paths to choose from. The rightmost one looked somewhat like the left path had looked at the beginning, the middle one was completely submerged in water with only small peices above the water that could be used as stepping stones, and the leftmost one looked high and dry.
Eia stopped, again knowing which way was right. Though, with the earlier correct path she feared that Zephyr woud believe that this one would be the same. She feared he would think that the driest path would always turn out to be the wettest, and visa-versa.
A rustle sounded in a partially submerged bush to their right, something that Eia should have sensed. The morph had been to involved in her thoughts and didn't even notice the presence of a Pokemon until it was loud enough that Zephyr would be able to hear it as well. [/sub]

Okay, the first part of the route was easy, now he had to face it with three choices. Now. Maybe he should do like he did last time. But then again, that might be a trick.
The middle path looked dangerous, but it might be the correct path. He can hop from stone to stone with out getting wet.
Before Zephyr told the 'morph of his choice, he heard something. It might be a pokemon. But he wasn't for sure. He had to wait and see.

The big round eyes of a Poliwag stared back at Zephyr. They blinked once, then twice. When the Pokemon realized that the trainer was aware of her position, she slowly came up onto the path. <Hello...> she said, a little timidly.
Despite her obvious fear, the Poliwag stood firm and did not back down. So, she was both timid... and brave. Two opposites, sort of. [/sub]
