"I cannot believe, that I'm even here.. Christ. I'm really gonna do this. I am actually going to do this. Just act, think later."
Pushing the front door open, Rikata Inamouri stomped through the sliding glass doors and was greeted by weary eyes, and unwelcoming frowns.
'I like it here already.'
Rikata thought to herself silently with a sarcastic roll of her eyes. Striding over to a podium where application forms were stacked, Rikata took one, and snatched a pen up without a sound, and began jotting down answers according to the questions:
As told by Rikata;;
Name: Rikata Mae Inamouri [ ree - kah- tuh ; may ; eeh - nawh - moor - eee ]
Nickname: Rika [ ree - kuh ]
Age: 17
Hair: Choppyish, black hair. With adorable red streaks that I put in myself. And I mostly have it up in a pony-tail or pig-tails. In fact-- the last time I had my hair down was like.. five years ago? I dunno.
Eyes: I've been told I have really pretty gold eyes. So, yeah.
Build: Well In my opinion, I need to lose weight, but what girl doesn't? But I'm like pretty tallish and slim I guess. Since I'm like 5'5 and stuff.
Preferred Non-Uniform Clothing: I couldn't live without my skinny-jeans and my studded belts. Not to mention my black gloves and my beautiful black tees. Oh, oh! And my lucky chain.
Other: Uhh, I'm a girl..? Oh! And I have like a zillion studs and piercing in my ears. And a buncha necklaces that I always wear. Is that enough?
As told by Natalie;;
Personality:
Rikata is a rude, conceited, vain, arrogant, and manipulative young girl. She is rather social and has quite a few friends, but they all seem to enjoy making fun of others, and watching people in pain. Mainly, she is only friendly to those she holds most dear. Otherwise, anyone else is treated like dirt. And it is simply in Rikata's nature to make people feel small and insignificant. But it is one of her skills that makes the people so disheartened.
Skills/Attributes:
Rika can lie her way out of anything. She uses her quick wit and sharp tongue to anger foes, as well as manipulate them to do whatever she pleases. She also has a very strategical mind when it comes to battle, and she thrives in pressure situations. Which is where she got her nickname, the comeback kid. Not to mention her natural knack for stealing. She could be in a room all by herself, and steal a priceless artifact without anyone noticing. Just as well, she could be in a room full of people, and snatch up something without anyone noticing.
Faults:
This young adolescent is like any other. She thinks she can do anything, and she often gets in over her head, and finds herself in a drastic situation and having no idea how to cope. She is very conceited, and takes many risks battle-wise, often leading to defeat or downright failure.
History:
Rikata grew up as an only child. The term, child, used very lightly. She was born into an esteemed family of politicians, her mother a judge, her father, a Nirven Town Councils man. Rikata, was a disgrace to the Inamouri name. Her parents had wanted her to take after her mother, blond, blue-eyed, and bodacious, so they could use their pretty daughter to use a showcase to get them into higher job positions and whatnot. But to their utmost horror they found her a disgusting pale color, black, unruly hair, short, and too skinny for her own good. Once the Inamouri parents realized their daughter also had picked up on being a smartass, a rebel and to their disgust, a punkish young female with studs and rings and pounds of eyeliner. Not to say she was ugly, but not a natural summer beauty as her mother. Rikata was more along the lines of a sultry young lass. Dark eyes and dark hair rather than the tan skinned, blue-eyed, dumbass that chose to fit most stereotypes. Anyhoo, her parents couldn't stand the embarrassment for having such a spot on their perfect family outlook. So, they planned to send the troublesome young adolescent away to a boarding care where she would learn about the eticate of being young lady.
Rikata had different plans.
She had wanted to be a pokemon trainer all her life, and someday become one of the elite four and battle the best. Unfortunately, that was unheard of in a hardworking political family like the Inamouris. So Rikata decided on the next best thing. To run away and flee from such an idea as being in an all-girls boarding school. So with a resentment towards her parents and a scowl on her face, Rikata fled from her estate in the lush outskirts of Nirven town, and ran to The Grim. In unknown desire to find a family who would accept her for whom she really was. Not what she would never be..
Role-Play Example:
Standing in the threshold of a high-class estate, a young girl stood erect, her eyes slowly brimming with salty tears.
"Rikata? Is that you?"
A weak voice called out from one of the upper level of the mansion.
"Get back up to your room. We have a big day tomorrow. And we don't need you and your stupid punk friends coming in late and making a ruckus."
But the adolescent was already gone. Fleeing at the sound of her mother's voice, Rikata shot off with only a simple backpack and her dignity. With each leg pounding on the unforgiving crust of the earth, Rikata sped forward, tears streaming down her face, and a firm grip clenched over her lower lip from her teeth-- eventually drawing blood. She was finally free. Away from her perfect family, away from her responsibilities, away from her version of hell.
Freedom was sweet, it tasted salty, or maybe it was the blood.. But nevertheless it was wonderful, and Rikata knew it would last forever. Her parents wouldn't care if Rikata ran away. In fact, it would be more of a blessing, considering that they seemed to hate her with all the fiber in their beings.
The next question was-- where to go? Who would accept a runaway teen like her? Who would want a runaway girl like her? Who would need, a runaway girl like her? Nothing came to mind. She had no other family except for her older brother, but he moved into the Kanto region ages ago in search of being able to breed legendary pokemon. And all of her aunts and uncles were just as bad as her parents. Possibly worse.
And there was the pokemon problem as well. How would she survive out in the wilderness without a pokemon to protect her? There seemed to be more questions than answers, and Rikata was getting scared as the night seemed to get deeper and more frightening than before. Suddely, an idea struck her down like a lightening bolt, either than or she tripped over a rock while she was running, but she came tumbling down to the ground but when she arose she had an answer to all of her troubling questions. And it was a simple two-worded idea.
