Cath entered the training area, studying her surroundings. Jhoto was a region unfamiliar to her, so she could learn about some of the Pokemon offered there, and their weaknesses. She looked to the Pokeball in her hand, narrowing her eyes. Her first Pokemon. Guess it was time to meet them.
She tossed the red and white ball to the ground, her face adopting a cold look as she stared at the materializing Eevee.
The Eevee soon appeared, her face blank as she stared up at Cath.
Cath gazed at the shiny Eevee, inwardly admiring the Pokemon for her beauty and attitude. This was a Pokemon she could rely on. "I am Cath, your trainer." She told the Pokemon, her cold look remaining. "You will do as I obey, Takala." Cath's face softened a bit, and she nodded at the newly named Eevee.
<Yes, Cath.> Takala responded, nodding at her trainer. She smiled slightly at Cath's nod, pleased at Cath's acceptance.
"Now, let us begin our training." Cath looked around, her face once again adopting her cold, hardened look as she searched for her first victim.

The first Pokemon to appear was a rathe moody looking Sneasel. It walked towards Cath, kicking stones as she ame forward, a frown etched on her face.
The Dark and Ice type did not seem to notice Cath or the shiny Eevee, too preoccupied was she in staring at the gound. <Stupid boys...> she mumbled as she continued to stare at her feet. A few tears sprang to her eyes. [/sub]

Cath eyed the Sneasel with a bit of interest. An ice and dark type would be useful. She completely disreguarded the tears coming to the Sneasel's eyes. She had decided. "Takala, tackle." Her voice was hard and uncaring, her face blank as she nodded on the Sneasel's direction.
Takala didn't even pause to acknowledge the order. Shr suhed forward in a Tackle, her eyes as cold and hard as her trainer's as she rushed to please her.

The Sneasel fell back from the unexpected Tackle, looking up with a completely shoked expression on her face. The tears were gone, now replaced by a glare. <What the heck was that for!?> she growled angrily.
The Dark Pokemon ran at Takala, bringing up her claws for a Scratch attack. She seemed to be taking out her anger on Takala, now that she had a reason to. [/sub]

<Cath wishes for me to defeat you. What she wishes is what I wish.> Takala growled out, glaring at the Sneasel. She didn't move as the Sneasel came toward her, wating for Cath's order.
Cath smirked at Takala's words, pleased with the Pokemon she had received. "Takala, use Tail-Whip."
Takala immeadiately sprung into action, her tail swinging wildly at the on coming Sneasel.

The dark and ice type cringed from the wiggling fluffy tail, stopping in her Scratch. Her defense fell, and both the failure of her attack and that simple fact made her even more angry. True, neither Cath nor Takala were males, but they still shouldn't have attacked her out of the blue like that!
A glare glimmering in her eyes, the Sneasel brought back up her claws, raking them down at the shiny Eevee in a ferocious Scratch attack. Tears shown in her eyes, though these were from anger rather than sadness. [/sub]

Takala yelped in pain, skidding back from the force of the attack. She breathed heavily, glaring angrily at the Sneasel.
Cath growled, glaring darkly at the Sneasel. How dare that stupid little thing hurt Takala! "Takala, tackle!" Cath snarled, angry. That Sneasel would not get away with hurting her Pokemon!
Takala seemed to respond to Cath's anger. She crouched low to the ground and growled, slowly making her way to the Sneasel. In a flash of white she suddenly attacked, using as much force as possible to injure her opponent.

The Sneasel fell back onto the ground, her feet having been knocked right out from under her. She leapt back up, putting some distance betwen herself and the Eevee. <Heck, its a battle! What do you expect me to do, sit here and just let you attack me!?> the Dark-type replied angrily. WHat was up with this chick?
If Cath had been a male the Sneasel probabally would have just went ahead and attacked the human, but she held more respect for females, especially in her recent circumstance. The black Weasel-like Pokemon flexed her claws, thinking of what she should do next.
Finally she decided. Her eyes glowed red in a Leer attack, trying to lower the formidable Eevee's defense. Ontop of that, she also waggled her paw back and forth holding up one claw as she did so, taunting the Normal-type.
<Hehe, wimp. You are the weakest little pathetic excuse for a Pokemon I have ever seen,> she taunted still more. She was combining two moves into one, Leer and Taunt. The Sneasel hoped that it would work.

Takala growled angrily at the Sneasel' words, and because of her lack of focus the Leer attack affected her. She could almost feel her defense dropping. This only made her angrier, and she was about to launch herself at the Sneasel, but was stopped.
"Takala, do not fall for this lowly Pokeon's taunts," Cath sneered, looking down her nose and the ice and dark type. "You are far above her, so it would pointless to even acknowledge it's taunts." Cath smirked, staring at the Sneasel cooly. "Now, once again, Tackle!"
Takala slowly calmed at Cath's words. She glared at the Sneasel, crouching once again as she prepared to attack. <You are rightl Cath. It was foolish of me to become annoyed by her insults.> Takala smirked and attacked once again, inwadly thanking Cath for helping her keep cool.

OoC: Taunt is supposed to keep the opponent from using any move except attack moves, right?
------
The Tackl again hit the Sneasel, sending her flying backwards only to hit a tree. She winced as she rose to her feet, angrily facing Cath. That had hurt! She glared at the pair, trying to think up a strategy.
Nothing coming to her mind, the Dark and Ice type settled for something that would do damage. She ran at Takala, her claws raised in preparation of a Scratch attack. The Sneasel swiped down, putting power behind the attack that was aimed at the Eevee. [/sub]

OoC - I have NO idea..... .___. ---------- Cath smirked as the Sneasel hit a tree, there was no way this little weakling would win, she was sure of it. Her smirk quickly vanished however, as Sneasel attacked Takala.
Takala yelped as the Sneasel's claws raked against her side, drawing a small amount of blood. She fell onto her opposite side, breathing heavily as she struggled to get up.
Cath's eyes narrowed and she sneered at the Sneasel before returning her attention to Takala. "Do not fail me, Takala." She said coldly. "Once again. Tackle!"
Takala flinhed, but nodded, making her way back to her paws. She breathed heavily, glaring darkly at her opponent. She suddenly rushed forward in another Tackle, inwardly hoping the match would end soon.

OoC: Yeah, I just looked it up ^^ Anyways... back to the battle that has taken so long to get a reply XD
The Sneasel's attention was caught by Cath's cold words, a shiver running up her spine. She already had disliked the girl when she first attacked, but know she KNEW that the trainer was bad news. The Ice-type didn't really like the thought of being captured by Cath.
Of course, the Pokemon's short pause had cost her dearly. Takala's attack struck full force, racking the Sneasel with waves of pain that coarsed through her body. She cried out and collapsed to the ground. She could not move her arms and legs, her muscles semed to be paralyzed. The force of the blow had thrown off the connection her nerves had to her brain!
As she struggled to move, she could feel some of the muscle control coming back. But, for the moment she was helpless.

Cath smirked darkly as the Sneasel collapsed to the ground, struggling to get up again. The battle amused her. The Sneasel, with it's ignorance, thinking it could actually defeat Takala. 'As if.' Cath thought, snorting inwardly at the very thought. She quickly returned her attention to the battle at hand. "You shouldn't 've hesitated." She grinned sadistically, nodding sharply to Takala. "Finish it."
Takala let out a pleased growl and her eyes narrowed at the Sneasel. <With pleasure, Cath.> She charged forward in another Tackle, putting nearly all her strength into what she hoped was the final attack.

The Sneasel grimaced as the Eevee rushed at her. She hated many things, but being helpless was probabally the highest on her list. The trainer most likely would have been able to capture her while she was paralyzed, but instead the girl wanted her unconcious. Unable to fight against the ball.
The dual type Pokemon knew that it could not be helped, that she would be at the complete mercy of the trainer after Takala's attack hit. Time seemed to barely slip by. The Normal type's movements seemed to be super slow, taking ages to get near her. In reality, the Eevee reached the Sneasel in mere seconds.
The furred, yet solid, body of the smaller Pokemon struck the Sneasel's, sending a jolt of pain through her. And then she only saw blackness. She slumped, unconcious.

"Excellent job, Takala." Cath praised, smirking as the Sneasel finally fell unconcious. "You have proved yourself to be capable." She grinned, quickly searching her person for a pokeball. "It seems we've yet another Pokemon to add to our roster." She finally found the familiar red and white pokeball and grabbed it, swinging her arm back to throw the Pokeball at the Sneasel.
Takala smiled in satisfaction, bowing her white furred head. <It was nothing, Cath. I am happy to have pleased you.>
Cath allowed another smirk to pass her lips at Takala's words, but she returned her attention to the Pokeball she had thrown, waiting for the sound that signalled a capture.
