Explaination and such: Okay I'd like to be a mod mostly because its cool to be able to help people out and welcome them as well. I'm relatively active or at least try to be and besides there are still some spots open no? I'm friendly and always willing to help new people out so I think it would be good to have me be a mod as well. Plus I'll give ya cookies -waves cookie in front of mods- I know you want them.

Yamchi was feeling like a complete fool at this point, after babbling on for what seemed like hours he had managed to come out with what he needed to say but he still felt like a idiot. How could he have been so dumb? He should have been able to control himself and make it through this without being so dumb, he would never let himself hear the end of this that was for sure. On the inside he was tearing himself up, in an effort to make himself feel a bit better.
His blue eyes had been looking at the floor for some while as he waited for her reply to what he said, what reaction would she have? Sweat was rising in his palms as he waited; standing still and his eyes looked up momentarily to see her amber ones looking right at him. Feeling humiliated he looked down almost instantaneously as she looked at him, those eyes, he felt like they pierced him and could see him in his entirety. Standing waiting for her reply he felt so naked, as if he had bared himself to her so she could do one of two things: allow him to sit with her even after sounding like a buffoon or worsen his humiliated state and tell him no and to leave her alone. Either way he would still feel like a clown on the inside though he would be able to handle himself better if she allowed him to stay.
Even after he had called her pretty and told her he liked her, his mind ran on those thoughts. It was true, he hadn’t even had a conversation with the girl, didn’t even know her name at all yet he could admit that he had some sort of crush on her. He was no prince charming in the sense that he could swoop a girl off her feet and rescue her, no. His type was the one who takes his time, not because he wishes to but because he wants something that he cannot have. Yet his persistence and determination help, in the end, get him what he wants. He wasn’t the prince charming, no; he was the hardworking prince that had to struggle to get what he wanted. Mom and Dad weren’t going to help him get the princess, he had to woo her himself. But he was the same in the sense that maybe he was here to help a damsel in distress, only problem was that he didn’t know she was in distress and could do little to help her.
Dark blue eyes looked up warily again at the girl, she was now in a state of shock and was… he couldn’t believe it, she was blushing. At the sight of her blushing he smiled a small and cautious smile, Yamchi felt much more at ease now, knowing he had made her blush. Yamchi knew the first step to getting a girl was making her feel comfortable around you, he had to be able to make her understand that he wasn’t out to get her or hurt her in any sense, but how? The girl had not but two minutes ago turned him down not feeling comfortable with his presence that would make it twice as hard to get her comfortable around him. There was only one way but he didn’t know how hard it would be, he had to her know he wanted to be a friend and be close to her. That was easier for him to think about in his head then to do, especially given to the type of girl she was. He had no idea she was so withdrawn, afraid to give extend out to anyone, why would she make an exception for a boy like Yamchi?
Finally as she picked up her parasol and allowed him to sit in the chair across from her he looked right at her. Not sure if he could but trying to make eye contact with her, let her know he was grateful and hoped he wouldn’t annoy her too much. He smiled softly and his eyes were full of thankfulness and like for her. He sat down and did his best not to be rude, allowing her to eat and not staring at her, though he couldn’t help on occasion glance at her while she wasn’t looking. The young genin had a desperate crush on the other kunoichi and there was little he could do other then to try and get his princess. If she wished to pull herself out of her loneliness, she had to know that at some point it was good to have some help, "So... ummm I didn't get your name."
