Nurse Joy looked a little surprised. "I didn't think about that... but, I don't think that he rally trusts people much anymore... he was shivering the whole time I treated him. But, he seems to trust you..." she said thinking.
"How about you take him? He could use a trainer who will treat him nicely and take good care of him," she said.
The Electike looked Cass in the eyes again, his expression telling her that he would like to be her Pokemon. He licked her hand cutely. [/sub]

Cass blinked in surprise, resisting the urge to ask, "Who, me?". She looked down at Electrike, smiling at his face. He did seem skittish around others, and if he trusted her, and wanted to be her Pokemon... "Okay." Cass finally said, chuckling.
She grabbed an empty pokeball from her bag, and looked back at Electrike. "Are you sure?" Cass asked, placing the empty Pokeball on the floor. "I don't want you to rush into anything."
Cass backed away a bit, nodding to Electrike. She'd let him think on it a bit for a few more seconds. If he wanted to come with her, than he would choose and she wouldn't pressure him.

The Electrike seemed to smile at Cass. He nodded, then walked forward and touched the pokeball with his snout. Immediately he was covered in a red light and disappeared into the ball. The ball didn't shake once, simply dinged, then vanished.
Nurse Joy smiled. "I'm glad that you'll be his trainer. He deserves someone like you to watch over him," she said.

Cass smiled as she watched Electrike enter the Pokeball, the pokeball vanishing soon after. She would switch her team out soon, so she could spend sometime with Electrike, and... Vulpix. Cass remembered the Pokemon, sighing. That was gonna be a tough one.
"Thanks," Cass mumbled, grinning at the nurse. "Thanks for all your help. Nurse Joy." She sighed, staring sadly at the ground for a moment before she looked back up, the sad look in her eye gone. "I'll make sure to tell you if anything happens" She said, referring to the Grim and Drake situation. She was sure Nurse Joy would want to know if he was alright if she found him.
'When.' She mentally corrected her self. 'When I find him.'

Nurse Joy just stood silent as Cass sighed. She nodded gratefully at Cass's words and cracked a smile, a hint of moisture in her eyes. "Thank you Cass. If I learn anything I will call you. I already have your number. My phone autoscanned it. Oh, you may want to turn on autoscan on your phone too, that way if you walk by anyone with a phone, you will automatically download their number." she said.
Then she smiled more broadly. "I'm sure that you will find him," she added. [/sub]

Cass nodded, grabbing her phone from her bag again. She silently turned the feature on, and quickly put it away. She grabbed her bag again and looked toward the Pokemon Center doors. It was time for her to leave. She grinned at Nurse Joy. "I know I will. Besides, I still have to yell at him for trying to leave me behind." She said, grumbling at the last part.
"Well, thanks again! I'm gonna get going now. Pokemon to catch, badges to win, an all that!" She waved, walking out the door. "Goodbye!"

"Bye Cass, and I wish you luck!" she said as Cass walked out the door.
It was getting a little darker. The sun was sinking steadily in the western sky, indicating that it was already nearing evening. The roar of a motor bike could be heard nearing the Canter, and soon Officer Jenny pulled up in front of Cass, being carefull not to hit her.
"So, I was thinking that you might want a ride?" she asked indicating a passenger side car. "I'm glad I caught you in time," she added with a laugh. [/sub]

Cass had heard the sound of the motor bike, but paid it no mind. After all, they were probably just passing by. So it was kind of a shock to her when Officer Jenny pulled up right in front of her. She let out a sqweak of surprise, taking a cautious step back, until sh realized it was Officer Jenny.
"Oh, hi!" Cass grinned at the mention of a ride, and eagerly nodded. Who would pass up a chance to ride on a motor bike? She carefully climbed into the side car, giving Officer Jenn a thumbs up when she was in and strapped securely.

Officer Jenny nodded as Cass slimbed into the side car. She didn't offer Cass a helmet, as she didn't have any need for it. Officer Jenny was probabally confident enough in her driving that she didn't need them, and after many years of chasing down criminals on the bike, she was right.
At Cass's thumbs up, Officer Jenny reved up the motor. She drove the motorbike easily through the town, weaving about the buildings smoothly. There was one close call as a woman walked around a bend, but Jenny managed to swerve out of the way without doing a bit of damage. Their speed was about fifty miles per hour, and they reached the edge of the city rather quickly.
Officer Jenny skidded to a stop, kicking up a trail of dust, but stopping on precision. "Alright, here you go!" she said with a smile. Route Three was right in front of the pair, a pair of trees and a wooden sign pointing out the entrance, and the path that ran through it. [/sub]

'That,' Cass thought, 'Was awesome!' Sure they hadn't been going super fast, but it was a good feeling, the wind going through her hair, and hitting her face. It gave her a sort of rush, like when she was battling.
"Thanks for the ride!" Cass grinned, hopping out of the side car. "It least I didn't have to waste all that time walking." Cass paused to stare at the sign that indicated that Route Three was there. It was time for her to get going, and train her Pokemon. She wanted to train as fast as possible, because the sooner her Pokemon team got stronger, the sooner she could go after the Grim and find Drake.
"I'll call you if I get any updates on the Grim." Cass said, nodding to Officer Jenny. "Thanks for everything!" She said gratefully as she began her trek to and through Route Three.
